融合閩南、日式木造、洋樓等建築特色。
臺中市歷史建築「林懋陽故居」係臺中市林、賴兩大家族聯姻後開枝散葉根基，建成於1920年代，保留了日治時期特有的建築風格，經歷眷村時代的熱鬧洗禮，成就了「一德洋樓」的名號。於2015年修復完成後開放民眾參觀。
