Smart Manufacturing - Demonstrating the Operational Process of Plastic Injection Molding Machines and Actual Production Lines. The selection of raw materials utilizes top-grade, non-toxic PET/PLA plastic pellets from Taiwan's largest petrochemical supplier. Through processes such as plasticization, filling, packing, and cooling, raw plastic pellets are transformed into liquid form through heating. Equipped with molds, the machine showcases the production process from raw materials to finished plastic products, highlighting Taiwan's high-quality plastic manufacturing technology.

Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing - Featuring Italy's MORETTO Central Automatic Feeding Network, complemented by 9 large red material barrel slots outside the factory. Utilizing positive pressure from the central automatic feeding system, along with 42 specially customized glass and metal straws, we control the transportation and distribution of materials. Negative pressure gas extracts plastic pellet materials to 50 plastic injection molding machines, enhancing production capacity and efficiency, saving labor hours, and reducing material contamination.

Combined with audio-visual multimedia, the production and feeding process emits a hissing sound, synchronizing with lighting effects and percussion music, making it a creatively enjoyable spot for photo opportunities.

Smart Manufacturing - The 46-Meter-High Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), inspired by Star Wars aesthetics, features load shuttles with a single-track, multi-car operation system capable of accommodating 2,980 pallet goods. The implementation of this automated warehouse effectively saves over 1,000 square meters of storage space and reduces labor by approximately six workers, with each pallet's operation time decreased by 66%.

Different floors offer views of the ASRS in action. Notably, the design ingenuity on Floor G integrates a Star Wars-themed wall, complete with two transparent glass windows cut out of the wall, through which the operation of the load shuttles, uniquely designed with blue 'SHUTER' lettering, can be observed in real-time.

The 'Tree of Life,' Symbolizing the Core Spirit of the Enterprise - Derived from the corporate philosophy of 'Integrity of the Tree, People-Centric, Highest Good like Water, and Virtue Carries All,' the Tree of Life stands 30.8 meters tall, approximately ten stories high. Visitors can stroll along the circular walkway from the first to the eighth floor, covering a total length of about 386 meters. This experience aims to encourage visitors to slow down, thoughtfully appreciate, and fully embrace every moment and scene in life.

The world's only 'Taiwanism Culture Pavilion: Global Austronesian Center' features 19 exhibition areas and 9 advanced multimedia technologies. The 24-meter-wide curved beach immersive theater showcases the cultural development of the Austronesian peoples during the great maritime era 5,000 years ago, symbolizing the adventurous spirit of courage and wisdom of the island's early inhabitants.

The pavilion also uses multimedia to present the history and evolution of 'Shuter Enterprise,' highlighting the core principles and values of its transition from OEM to mass production, and its journey in developing its own brand. It showcases the four-part story of the Half Mountain Dream Factory, from the land purchase by founder Wu Jinglin and his wife in 2012, through international competitions and planning, to execution, reflecting the challenges and successes of collaboration with international teams.

Additionally, visitors can engage with the 'Fitness Workshop' to experience the weight-bearing tests of Shuter products, and enjoy the 'Ancestral Blessings' floating projection, creatively designed with Shuter cabinets, integrating social media sharing and cultural transmission.

Over the course of a decade, from conceptualization to international competition and design planning involving 38 teams from 10 countries, the "Half Mountain Dream Factory" situated in Nangang Industrial Zone officially opened on December 23, 2022. Spanning an indoor area of 5,086 ping (approximately 16,800 square meters), it embodies the spirit of smart machinery, smart manufacturing, artisanal aesthetic design, and local characteristics, offering a fully immersive, interactive, educational, and recreational experience as a learning and tourism destination.

The Shuter Half Mountain Dream Factory has received 14 prestigious international architecture and design awards, including the Platinum Award from The SPARK Awards in the United States, the Architecture Master Prize (AMP) in the Industrial Architecture category, the Gold Award from the MUSE Design Awards, the DFA Asia's Most Influential Design Excellence Award, the International Design Award (IDA) in the United States, the IF Architecture Design Award in Germany, and the Sydney Design Awards for Architecture Design. In 2022, it also received the National Excellence in Architecture Award.

The main structure of the Half Mountain Dream Factory is conceptualized as a "Light Box," using semi-transparent polymer green building materials for the outer layer, achieving excellent thermal comfort year-round. Its superior strength and durability, surpassing glass, perfectly bring natural light and shadows indoors, allowing air and sunlight to flow naturally throughout the building. Along the 386-meter circular tree walkway, floor-to-ceiling windows ensure ample natural lighting and provide views of the Jioujiou Peak and the Central Mountain Range.

In addition to meeting Taiwan's EEWH1 green building certification standards, the Half Mountain Dream Factory has achieved LEED v4 Gold certification for green buildings in the United States. The overall building achieves over 20% energy savings, with a 60% reduction in energy use from a 3,500 ping solar photovoltaic system and a 40% reduction in potable water use from water-saving systems. Advanced plastic materials and processes effectively reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption, certified through ISO50001 for energy efficiency.
