Mt. Bagua Great Buddha Scenic Area
Mt. Bagua Great Buddha is the most representative landmark in Chuanghua. Follow Guashan Road to reach the entrance archway of Mt. Bagua Great Buddha Scenic Area. Walk up the Buddha’s Avenue that is lined with 32 stone sculptures of Guanyin on both sides. Each sculpture has a solemn and dignified look to it. Coming up to the end of the road, you will reach the Nine-Dragon-Pool Square, where you can look up to see the 22-meter-tall Gautama Buddha statute and look down at the landscape of Changhua Plains.
Changhua Visitor Information Center
Walking on brick pavement free from busy traffic, the visitors can slow down and relax or even lose themselves in history and culture or immerse themselves in traditional/vintage parlors to re-visit their childhood. Lukang Township Putou Street, Yaolin Street, Dayou Street Yaolin Street and Putou Street were both Lukang’s key commercial regions in the old days. Now they have been listed as historic conservation areas. Old houses, evil-dispelling charms and couplets on both sides of the door reveal the pace and styles in the life of our forefathers.
Lukang Tianhou Temple
Lukang Tianhou Temple was built over than 400 years;the temple enshrines Goddess Mazu, which was one of tutelary gods for people in Minnan area in early days. All the details of the temple were made by famous artisan. One of the oldest temples in Taiwan to Mazu.
J. Wood Garden
First wooden-sheet sightseeing factory in Taiwan. It offer tours in DIY, and coffeehouse. It is the first family area in Changhua. In J. Wood Garden, both children and adults can have a go at rolling up wood sheets for DIY assembly fun. Try your hand at assembling dinosaurs, little cars, and little pen holders. You are promised fun, laughter, and excitement. This is a great place for parents to spend time with their kids.
Taiwan Glass Gallery
Taiwan Glass Gallery consists of three halls each with different features: Glass Info Hall, Art Hall, and the Everyday Commodities Hall. It also includes 34 themed areas that are open to the general public free of charge. The Gallery normally has many visitors. Glass applications are combined with art and culture; Taiwan’s nature & ecology; and furniture creation, which the visitors will find immensely amazing and wondrous. These glass artworks have shifted our impression of glass being fragile and cold.
