Showalter Fountain the the center piece of the Fine Arts Square, located next to IU's auditorium. The fountain depicts the birth of the Goddess Venus on top of a clamshell surrounded by frolicking fish. A tradition of jumping into the fountain has been started by students. One of the original fish is missing due to it being stolen during celebrations for the 1987 IU Men's Basketball National Championship win.

The Arboretum is a landscape of greenery and trees between the Herman B Wells Library and the IU School of Public Health. Many students use it as a place to study and relax on nice days. It originally served as IU's Memorial Stadium and the Little 500 Bicycle Race track, it now houses the new Metz Carilion Bell Tower, a monument celebrating IU's 200th anniversary.

The Indiana Memorial Union is a hub for IU's campus, bringing together thousands of students, faculty, alumni and visitors through various events. It houses a bookstore, several restaurants and cafes, and a bowling alley for visitors to explore.

Memorial Stadium is the home of Indiana Hoosiers football since its opening in 1960. The stadium is the tenth largest in the Big Ten Conference and it has been renovated and modernized several times. Memorial Stadium holds Hep's Rock, a limestone boulder celebrating previous head football coach Terry Hoeppner and his contributions to the football program.

Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall is the home of IU Hoosier's Basketball. Opened in 1971, Assembly Hall can hold up to 17,000 fans and has housed three NCAA National Championship teams.

Sample Gates is an iconic IU landmark for students, alumni, and visitors alike. Constructed in 1987 the gates acted as an entrance from Kirkwood Avenue to the campus. At its dedication ceremony, the gates were said to "stand as a monument to those who have gone before us, to the work and vision of all who’ve helped to bring this university to greatness."

The IU Auditorium serves as a community gathering place, hosting various artists, entertainers, musicians and lecturers. It has hosted globally renowned performers such as the Metropolitan Opera to Mikhail Gorbachev. It is a well known campus destination, hosting many class introductions for incoming students.

The Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC) is a place for students to pursue healthy lifestyles and wellness. With an indoor weight room, indoor track, cardio center, pool, and courts for futsal, badminton, basketball and volleyball, the SRSC provides students with variety of sport and fitness opportunities.

The Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center (NMBCC) is a space for students to explore racial identity and express the values of a diverse learning community. Located next to the IU Auditorium, the NMBCC strives to create and consistently facilitate activities and programming that challenges, supports, and contributes to the continued development and success of Black students within the Indiana University community.

The William Leon Garrett Fieldhouse also known as the Intramural Center, mirrors the SRSC as a place for students to pursue healthy lifestyles and wellness. The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering is one of the largest information schools. the goal of the school is to lead the nation in creating a new, broad, and interdisciplinary view of computing and information technology. Luddy offers an array of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in informatics and computer science.

The Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies serves as a beacon of global learning. The building is located next to Herman B. Wells library and was designed to foster world-changing learning and research. The atrium features a colorful wall of stones that connects the Indiana limestone tradition to the nations of the world

The Jacobs School of Music is a center for excellence in performance, artistry and collaboration, being the launch pad for many leaders around the globe. The success of the school comes from its more than 175 full-time faculty members of internationally celebrated performers, scholars, and pedagogues who are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of music leaders.

Bill Armstrong Stadium is a dual purpose stadium located on the North side of the IU Campus. It is home to one of the nation's top Men's Soccer programs and hosts the annual Little 500 Bicycle race. This race is a nationally renowned bike race that modeled after the Indianapolis 500, where racers compete in relay teams to race 200 laps. The race has become a time for festivities and celebration by the student population, making the stadium a must see location.

The SPEA Library is a place for students to meet and study. There are tables for group study and reservable rooms for quieter studying or group meetings. Librarians here can help students find resources for research and projects. Attached to the library is a café where students can grab a quick snack or lunch.

The Hodge Hall Commons is the first area that many students see when they enter Hodge hall. This area serves as a place for students to study and socialize between classes. It provides a view of 10th street in a welcoming and sunny environment.

The Prebys Career Center is an all encompassing resource for students in professional development and recruiting. With 70 interview rooms and multiple other resources, students can go here to talk to a career coach, schedule virtual interviews in designated rooms, and meet with recruiters.

The Kelley bridge is a hallway that serves as a connection between the undergraduate and graduate sides of the Kelley School of Business. The bridge houses the Graduate Accounting Programs such as the 3/2 MBA and the MSA programs. It is lined with photos of Kelley supporters on one side with a beautiful view of Fee lane on the other.

The Subhedar Forum or the Atrium is the main area within the middle of the Godfrey Center. This area houses chairs and tables, allowing students to relax between classes or meet with groups and professionals.

To the right of the elevators is the Kelley Applause Tradition Statue. This statue depicts two hands in a clapping motion. It represents a tradition created by professor Walt Blacconiere, where after the end of every class, student applaud the learning that just took place.

On the lowest floor of the Godfrey center is the MBA student lounge. This lounge is a place for students to study, socialize and grab food in the café next to it. Students can also use the changing rooms and lockers to change in and out of professional wear and store items during the day.

Hidden in the forest near Lake Monroe, there is an abandoned water slide. In the late 1970s to early 1980s this water slide operated as an attraction to the lake. Now it has become an area for colorful graffiti and art.
