Showalter Fountain the the center piece of the Fine Arts Square, located next to IU's auditorium. The fountain depicts the birth of the Goddess Venus on top of a clamshell surrounded by frolicking fish. A tradition of jumping into the fountain has been started by students. One of the original fish is missing due to it being stolen during celebrations for the 1987 IU Men's Basketball National Championship win.

Zoom Flume

Hidden in the forest near Lake Monroe, there is an abandoned water slide. In the late 1970s to early 1980s this water slide operated as an attraction to the lake. Now it has become an area for colorful graffiti and art.
