Tamsui Historical Museum

Tamsui Historical Museum was established by the government of New Taipei City (former Taipei County) in 2005.

This institution administrates the renovation and preservation of numerous historic sites in Tamsui, while also specializing in the education and training of individuals devoted to this field.

The main purpose of Tamsui Historical Museum is to promote the general public's awareness of historic sites. Educational material and resources to stimulate the interest of tourists are provided as well, so visitors can discover a connection with our land. The administrative office is located at the International Artist Village near Taiwan Golf Club, where we manage twenty seven historic sites and six historic buildings all within Tamsui.
